Christmas With Jim Stafford?

Are you courageous enough for a Christmas show with Jim Stafford? At 64 years young, Jim Stafford continues to captivate the crowd with "bust out loud" laughter, hilarious stage effects, and the clever wit that has adorned himself with fans around the world.
you can never be quite sure of what your going to get from a Jim Stafford show. You might even want to look underneath your seat to make sure that your safe (at least for the time being). One thing you can count on is that the Jim Stafford Christmas show will bring the holiday festive atmosphere up to a new level. Jim's shows have always been family oriented with the knack of bringing generations together, sharing "timeless medicine" that we all call laughter.
Jim Stafford made Branson his home when he fell in love with the area all the way back in the 1980's and he hasn't looked back since. He is a tireless entertainer that performs year round with very little time off. Don't ever ask Jim Stafford if he gets tired of his work however. In an interview with the Tulsa Beacon, Jim said "“I still can’t believe this is happening,” Stafford said in his office at his theater. “I can’t believe I’m here in this toy box. Sometimes, I just walk around backstage and stare. It’s the most wonderful thing. It’s always thrilling to me.”
Jim Stafford's Christmas Show runs until December 13th, and his full time regular show resumes on December 27th. View The Entire Jim Stafford Christmas Show Times and Schedule
Jim Stafford has always been a family entertainer, with clean good-natured comedy. The Christmas holiday's are very special to Jim, and throughout the entire year his entertainment theater is transformed into a local Church on Sunday mornings! I have seen Jim's show (his regular performance as well as his Christmas shows) probably a dozen times over the years, and I can honestly attest that it just keeps getting better! New Airport + Car Rentals

With the new Branson Airport opening in the spring of 2009, travelers may be inquiring about airline flights, car rentals, and vacation packages.
If you haven't recently enjoyed a vacation in Branson, you probably remember the days of endless and frustrating traffic jams. Knowing that the Branson shows were not going to patiently wait for your arrival, you began to panic helplessly. With the addition of new roads, and alternate traffic routes, traveling around Branson has become a breeze.
The new Branson Airport gives travelers a new and welcome option. In 2009 you will be able to fly into Branson from anywhere across the country. You can also pre-book discount vacation packages, and hotel lodging in just a few short minutes. Planning your Branson vacation has never been easier! Vacation Ideas In Bad Economy

Planning a vacation for your family takes a lot more consideration during an economic recession. Many people feel less secure that they'll even have a job at this time next year. Families tend to hang on to their money during a bad economy during these hard times (and rightfully so.)
So, how should you plan your family vacation? Should you just stay home this year? While that is an option, I would like to offer alternatives for you to consider. How about having a wonderful vacation for your family without running up your credit card bills?
Vacations in the upcoming few years will probably take an economic and geographical transformation. Out, will be the expensive travel, lodging, and entertainment costs. In will be the more cost efficient "financial friendly" vacations. Considering that I am knowledgeable about Branson's family oriented tourist attractions and destinations, I'll give you a few vacation ideas. Cheap Branson Travel, Lodging, and Entertainment
Branson is located nearly in the center of the United States so the travel distance alone may be a better option, depending on your location. Branson also has a plethora of vacation discount packages, financial friendly attractions, and even plenty of things to do for free!! Let me share a few vacation ideas with you:
- Take A Timeshare Tour! - Yes, I said a timeshare tour! How does free show tickets, free lodging, and free restaurant vouchers sound? I can tell you that it's not too good to be true! All you have to do is go through one of their presentations (1- 1 1/2 hours), and you will receive compensation for your time. Timeshare often receives a bad rap, and it's true that it's not right for everybody. It's definately a love/hate relationship. Its totally free to take the timeshare tour however, and it's actually rather interesting taking a tour of one of their beautiful resorts! If you like to travel often, then a timeshare might be what you are looking for.
- Camping Vacations - Once you have all the gear that you need, camping under the stars remains one of the cheapest vacations a family could have. Hot dogs, marshmallows, your camping gear, and a camp fire is all you need for a very enjoyable vacation for your family. Branson, Missouri is loaded with campgrounds, rv parks, and lakefront fun!
- Boating On Table Rock Lake - Grab the tube, your water ski's, and hitch up the boat. For a tank of gas you can enjoy an entire afternoon of tubing, cruising, and relaxing on Table Rock Lake. A poor economy doesn't have to ruin your vacation plans.
- Discount Vacation Packages - Instead of buying show tickets at each venue, consider buying entire packages that can save you hundreds of dollars. Branson has vacation packages available for virtually all of the shows. You can basically pick and choose the shows and attractions that you would like to be included. The money that you save is quite considerable, and actually it makes planning your vacation much easier. View Branson Vacation Packages

Christmas Lights At Silver Dollar City

Simply spectacular is all I can say when describing the awesome display of Christmas lights at Silver Dollar City. Once you walk through the front entrance of Silver Dollar City you encounter probably the biggest Christmas tree that you will ever see in your life. Beautifully decorated, the Christmas tree's colors can dance rhythmically to the beat of the Christmas music.
While you wander through the illuminated theme park, you can't help but feel as if you are walking through a magical enchanted forest. Millions of Christmas lights line the trees with a delightful aroma of freshly baked pastries filling the air. Need Tickets To Go To Silver Dollar City At Christmas?
Living nativity scenes, Christmas plays, caroling, and a breathtaking parade really brings the Spirit of Christmas alive at Silver Dollar City.
With all of the extra eye candy, I still had to get my roller coaster fix in. If fast roller coasters don't scare you I would suggest going to the "Powderkeg" ride after dark. Powderkeg is located on the edge of the park, away from all of the Christmas lights. As it shoots you down the track at an extreme high rate of speed, a strobe light flash camera takes your picture and blinds you for awhile. The ride takes you on a thrilling ride in nearly total darkness, while you fly through the trees, with several stomach wrenching vertical drops.
Two wonderful plays that a must see stops while your in Silver Dollar City. A Dickens Christmas Carol was absolutely fabulous, and "Frosty" is a great NEW show that was cute and the kids just loved it.
The Christmas lights at Silver Dollar City is easily the best displays of Christmas light that I have ever seen. If you have never been to Branson during Christmas I would strongly suggest doing so. There are still many shows open up until Christmas, and several that stay open year round. Order Christmas Show Tickets In Branson
